Discover one of the Dominican Republic’s most impressive natural attractions during an excursion to the 7 Damajagua Waterfalls, located near the town of Imbert in Puerto Plata.
Accompanied by an official guide, you’ll learn about the region’s culture, history and natural beauty while exploring an environment surrounded by tropical jungle, waterfalls and natural trails.
The main experience begins as you descend the famous 7 Damajagua waterfalls, where you’ll slide down natural rock slides, pass through waterfalls and enjoy refreshing natural pools formed within the mountains. Each section of the route offers a different experience surrounded by one of the Dominican Republic’s most popular ecological landscapes.
After the water adventure, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings before beginning the return journey toward Puerto Plata.
Along the way, you’ll stop at an artisan cigar factory, where you’ll learn more about the traditional process of making Dominican cigars, one of the country’s most recognized traditions.
During the excursion, you’ll also pass rural communities, sugar cane plantations and scenic landscapes of the Dominican Republic’s northern region, including views of Amber Cove Cruise Port and the district of Maimón.
